De La Mora Cleaning Services wants every person to be able to read this site, get a price, and reach us. That includes people who use a screen reader, who navigate with a keyboard instead of a mouse, who need larger text, or who turn off animation.

The standard we build toward

We build this site toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the guidelines most widely used to make websites usable by people with disabilities. We are not claiming a perfect score. Accessibility is something we keep working at, and we would rather tell you honestly where we stand.

What we have done

• Every page has a "Skip to content" link as the first thing you reach by keyboard.
• You can see a clear outline around whatever you are focused on as you tab through the site.
• Every form field has a real, visible label. Placeholder text is only an example, never the label.
• Every image has alternative text, and images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers.
• Each page has one main heading, and the headings below it run in order.
• Buttons and links are real buttons and links, so they work with a keyboard and announce correctly.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations on this site turn off.
• The mobile menu closes when you press Escape and puts you back on the button you opened it with.
• Body text and buttons are sized and colored to stay readable, and tap targets are large enough to hit.

What we know is not perfect

This is the honest part. These are the gaps we are aware of right now:

• The turquoise in our logo is a light color. We kept our brand colors, and instead darkened the turquoise used behind white text and for small text so it stays readable. Some large decorative shapes and dividers still use the lighter original turquoise. They are decoration only and never carry information you need.
• The spam shield in the corner of our form pages is provided by an outside company. We cannot change how it is built or how it behaves with a screen reader.
• The estimate tool is a multi-step form. It works with a keyboard, but it is long, and moving between steps may not always announce clearly on every screen reader. If it gets in your way, please just call us. We will build your estimate with you over the phone and you will get the same price.
• We have not tested this site with every screen reader and browser combination. We are a small local business. We test what we can and we fix what you report.

If any part of this site stops you from getting what you need, contact us and a person will help you directly. You do not need to explain the technical problem. Just tell us what you were trying to do.

We aim to reply within two business days. If we cannot fix something quickly, we will tell you that too, and we will give you another way to get the same result, including booking your cleaning entirely by phone.
